I highly recommend hiring a postpartum doula for those first few weeks after birth when everything is new and very overwhelming. As a SMBC this was a life saver for me. It allowed me to start out on the right foot by allowing me to get the rest I needed and get some time to myself so I could reset and be a better mom to my new daughter. This is a investment you wont regret. My doula Mandy has extensive experince with breast feeding and that was exactly what I was looking for as I really wanted to be successful in breastfeeding. Thanks to her tips and tricks I am doing great now and my daughter is thriving. I really can't say enough good things about my postpartum doula experince.
